TRANSFORMATION: PART 1

so sorry for the late blog but i had gone to tahoe to get away from the dance life for a minute, my fam and i went to tahoe for a good week. Although i missed out on alot of practice, i had a great time. drank basically every day since we arrived to tahoe. Ate our whole weeks worth of food. freakin crazy. We cooked up a whole bunch dinners. my favorite night was spring roll night..my cousin Teressa had a set up a bunch of raw beef, vermicelli, lettuce, squid, and had made her own dipping sauce...it was great.. it was like a home made benihana!! lmao.. my trip was just incredibly awesome..it was time to just sit back relax and dawn on the thing ive done... and where i want to go in life.. and it worked.. i look at dance differently more than ever..im more intuned to dancing with emotion rather than the beast of the song...not that i havent been doing that before but now its just deeper. as corny as this may sound.. i think im a better person after my trip.
these past few months have been stressfull but at the same time incredibly fun. From getting ready for a competition to teaching classes all month. first with the villans i saw my homeboi desi dumalo, check him out by the way he's talented when it comes to dance, at battle fest 360 and we decided that i should teach one day so i did. my second class this month was at innovation intensive you could look it up on youtube. i kind of did it last minute being the fact theat i was so busy with the league and the competition, but other than that it was incredibly fun, i met a grl, incredibly talented for her age, from new era, fusions competitive dance group, and some incredible dancers who just have as much passion as i do. i have pictures from the class an ill be putting them up soon. My third class of the month was the best one so far being the fact it was a choreographers showcase, i met almost all the dance groups, one of the dance i really liked was "on point" they were really on point with my choreo.
Thanks to rythm inc. for letting me tdo this showcase too, they too were also wlecoming.. even cyndy and lenon..thank you guys. alli got a WARM welcome from all the groups when i entered the studio. The Choreographers showcase in general was awsome, it was more than i expected. The warm WELCOME just pushed me even more, i almost felt like i was on top of the world.. lmao..they were funny..some were quiet.. but i warmed them up a bit by making random comments.. they were incredible..rythm inc. was kind enough to bring me all the way out there to teach. cyndy is just awsome, and so is lenon..they were always nodding there head everytime they class did my choreo.. over all i thought they liked it.. lmao...whats even greater is that kyle shae, a good friend of mine, and one of the directors for oddcaities helped me out that day.. and so did a couple of my members.... thanks jack and eej!!!! love you guys.....
other than my last few classes are on wednesday and thursday [ april 1st and 2nd], my focus is more on this competition on the 28th of March. weve been working so hard for this competition it shows on everyones faces. were tired and emotionally tied up in the competition that were really trying our hardest to win.. not for the trophy or the money.. but just for the respect and chance to show what we have to offer, and to us thats more than any trophy or prize money.. we see that as a bonus. lmao...other than that im doing fine.. i got some sore muscle pain here and there but hey....i love dance that much to keep on pushing..after this competition im ready for vacay .. im goin back home to LA in a few days.. and then a whole month in april.. [sighs] .. home sweet home..

see you in SOCAL..!!!!!!
